BREWING RETURNS TO WETHERBY
After an absence of almost 100 years, Wetherby once again has its very own brewery! Based on York Road (opposite The Engine Shed) we offer a core range of six hand crafted beers, all brewed on-site and available to both the trade and general public.
You can now purchase our beers (plus a fine range of guest ales) directly from our bottle shop. We also hold a number of open days where you can watch us brewing and sample beer from the cask at our tap room bar.
Come and meet our Head Brewer, learn what makes great beer, sample our new range of beers directly from the cask or bottle, then take some bottles home from our bottle shop! You’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome.

Our new brewery is now operational! We’re now producing a range of quality refreshing ales, all brewed on-site using our new shiny stainless steel brewing equipment imported from Germany.
Our range includes a crisp citrus ‘Blonde’, a full bodied ‘Gold’, an easy drinking ‘IPA’, a solid session ‘Bitter’, a strong dark ‘Classic’ English ale and a flavour packed ‘Porter’… plus there will be lots of different seasonal and ‘one off’ brews too.
Your favourite Wetherby Brew Co beers are now available to buy direct from the brewery! Our bottle shop is open most weekends and during the week we’ll also be here brewing and will happily supply you with some beers to take home! Please see below for access times. Please note that we cannot accept cash Mon to Fri (when we will be happy to accept all major debit and credit cards).
